BWI AIRPORT, MD (February 06, 2009) - Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport was recognized with the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce (NAACCC) Golden Age Award. This award honors local businesses that have been in operation over 25 years and have made significant contributions to Anne Arundel County.
“BWI Marshall Airport thanks the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce for this award,” said Timothy L. Campbell, Executive Director of the Maryland Aviation Administration. “The Airport has been an important part of Anne Arundel County for decades. It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized by the local business community.”
The recognition was made as part of the NAACCC’s Annual Presidential Gala and Awards Ceremony. BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport was one of seven businesses to be nominated for the Golden Age Award.
