BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport Reports
November 2007 Passenger Traffic
Record 1.72 million passengers use BWI Marshall in November |
BWI AIRPORT, MD (January 09, 2008) - Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport today announced that 1,720,998 commercial passengers flew through the Airport in November. That figure, an increase of 1.9% over November 2006, represents an all-time November record for passenger traffic at BWI Marshall. November 2007 was the fifth straight record month for BWI passenger traffic.
Southwest Airlines led the way in November with 886,495 passengers for the month, an increase of 1.1%. AirTran Airways reported the largest percentage increase (28.6%) in passengers, with a total of 227,541 for the month.
