BWI Marshall Airport Welcomes Further International Expansion from WOW air
Airline to Grow Its BWI Marshall Service for Summer 2018, Adding Double Daily Flights In Peak Period
WOW air announced today that it would expand its schedule from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport during the summer of 2018. During the 2018 peak summer season, WOW air will offer twice-daily departures on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The expanded schedule will run from May 19 through September 15, 2018.
The low-fare WOW air operates service between BWI Marshall and Reykjavik, Iceland, with easy connections available to markets across Europe.

WOW air is growing its international service at BWI Marshall Airport due to high demand for its flights to Iceland and beyond to other destinations. The innovative, low-fare airline started service at BWI Marshall in May 2015. WOW air currently operates daily service from BWI Marshall. During summer 2018, the airline will offer 11 weekly departures from BWI Marshall.

BWI Marshall Airport remains the busiest airport in the region. Following a new all-time annual passenger record in 2016, the airport continues to grow with new airlines and flights to new markets. BWI Marshall Airport now offers service to nearly 90 domestic and international destinations. Construction work continues on the extension of the airport’s international terminal to provide added airline capacity and new passenger services.
