Holiday travel in 2020 is different than any previous year. Governor Larry Hogan has issued an emergency order limiting travel to essential purposes only. Marylanders who travel out of state or individuals traveling to Maryland must obtain a negative COVID-19 test or self-quarantine for 10 days. Learn more by clicking here or here.

The BWI Marshall Airport team and our partners are working hard to ensure your airport visit is both safe and enjoyable.

Face coverings are required throughout the airport terminal and aboard airport shuttles. Click here to learn about free face coverings being distributed at Information Desks. Hand sanitizer stations are located throughout the terminal, both before and after security checkpoints. Please maintain your distance from others. Signage and floor markers are in place throughout the terminal to remind passengers of health and safety best practices. Audio announcements also provide passengers with important information. A virtual Information Desk, where passengers can receive live assistance from a member of the airport Pathfinders team, can be found in Baggage Claim near belts 3 and 4.

Even this year, the holiday season will bring an increase of passengers to the airport. Please plan to arrive 2 hours prior to your scheduled domestic departure and 3 hours prior to international departure. This allows time for parking, ticketing and check-in, security checkpoints and anything else you may need to take care of.

We hope you enjoy your visit. To reach our Customer Service team, call 410-859-7683 or email Click here for Lost and Found information.
